HIIT Classes

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is an immensely popular fitness trend because of the efficiency of the fat burning workouts. HIIT is a workout style comprised of short work periods followed by short rest periods that mix cardio and strength training at a high intensity. It is a great full body workout that has you burning the most calories in the shortest amount of time.

Kickboxing Classes

Fitness kickboxing is an exciting, unintimidating, and fun way to lose weight, burn calories and get stronger. Knock out boredom and blast fat all over with these muscle-sculpting workout.

  • Burn more than 500 calories/class!
  • Targets arms, shoulders, abs, thighs, and glutes in one workout!

The class may consist of using focus pads and kick shields with a partner, doing drills on a heavy bag, HIIT intervals and more. Check out this video!

Obstacle Course Race Training

River City Fitness believes in being prepared, in being ready. Obstacle course races will challenge you, will inspire you, and will motivate you if you are ready for them. Our OCR bootcamps will help build skill in the obstacles and help you prepare for any obstacle you may face in these fun, challenging, and increasingly popular races.

Why sign-up for our classes?

  • Race Readiness – With all the fun and challenging obstacle course races out there we can never be too ready. Use this class to practice the obstacles, build strength, and be ready! This session will take you right up to the Spartan Sprint in Edmonton!

  • Something Different – OCR IT workouts bring something new and fun every class. From tires, to buckets, to javelins, to ropes, to sandbags there is always something to challenge you.
